House of Skin

Project Overview

House of Skin is a new Manhattan-based Medical spa. This project required I create a brand book with the company logo, fonts, color scheme and other guidelines. Then, I used those guidelines to help design a website that embodied the luxury and unique brand image of House of Skin. I collaborated with a team of professionals as lead designer for both the brand book and the website design. The website is currently under development.

The Challenge

The highly competitive nature of the luxury medical spa market in New York City demanded a distinctive and memorable brand image that would set House of Skin apart from established competitors. Creating a cohesive visual language that effectively communicated the spa’s commitment to luxury and uniqueness while also conveying medical expertise and trustworthiness proved to be a delicate balancing act. Additionally, ensuring consistency across all brand elements and translating the brand book guidelines into a functional, aesthetically pleasing website design required meticulous attention to detail and seamless collaboration with the development team

The Solution

To address these challenges, I spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive brand book that established a strong foundation for House of Skin’s visual identity. This included designing a sophisticated logo, selecting an elegant font palette, and developing a luxurious color scheme that reflected the spa’s upscale positioning. As the lead designer, I then leveraged these brand guidelines to craft a website design that embodied House of Skin’s commitment to luxury and uniqueness. The website’s user interface was carefully crafted to provide an intuitive and visually striking experience that aligned with the brand’s high-end image. Throughout the process, I fostered close collaboration with a team of professionals, ensuring that the brand book and website design seamlessly integrated to create a cohesive and impactful brand presence. While the website is still in development, the completed Figma files and brand book serve as a robust framework for House of Skin’s digital and visual identity.
